It's wonderful when good intention is pickin up speed on it's own and develops into something substantial. I've decided that 50% of the generated money from my morning blues and the raw and uncut metta for Nepal live recording is going to the Jcyc Nepal organization. While the other 50% still go to Alen Silva and his neighborhood.

My dear Nepali brother Deepak Prasad Bashyal whom I met in Korea couple of years ago, is working for this reliable and good hearted NGO. Today alone they distributed relief goods to 50 households in rural areas. It's heartwarming, yet heartbreaking to listen to the shocking reality of the daily life in Nepal. Deepak, together with his family had to sleep 10 days in a tent, and spent last night back in their unsafely cracked home. A restless night with doors open and lights on, just to be prepared for the worst. The area south of the Bagmati river (where his home is) was severely hit and whole neighborhoods are forced to resettle. 800'000 people have left the city already in search for shelter. Deepak stayed.

All my energy and happy thoughts go straight to Nepal, and what better way to do so in the physical world than with music. Together we can create substantial help with our good intentions (and credit cards). Nepal has to think ahead and starting to distribute mosquito nets, the danger of epidemics (cholera, malaria, dengue...) will rise dramatically with the coming monsoon season. Every song and every dollar helps, thank you so much!
